Projects
I am an emerging artist working across a range of mediums, currently exploring themes around violence against women. While this is a central focus of some of my work, my practice is not limited to this subject. I create art to provoke thought, stir emotion, and challenge societal norms, all while expanding my creative expression. And sometimes, I just want to be silly and escape into a made-up world, letting my imagination run wild and creating something lighthearted and fun.

The Women’s Memorial Tree is an audiovisual artwork by Kylie Art (formerly Sharp Candy) and Reverse Butcher, created as a powerful protest against gender-based violence in Australia. Through a virtual reality sculpture and an emotive soundtrack, this artwork honours the lives of women tragically lost to violence, raising awareness and urging action to end this epidemic.

Is this the World?
"Is This the World?" is the emotive song from the Women’s Memorial Tree project. A work in progress, it in development from demo track to full production. It aims to capture the grief, anger, and hope surrounding gender-based violence. This song serves as both a tribute and a call to action, urging change and reflection on the world we live in.
